How To Access Your Computer Remotely
Apr 01, 2010 If you have multiple monitors, you may want to have the Remote Desktop Session for a particular computer always appear on the same monitor. Unfortunately, the Remote Desktop Connection user interface does not expose a setting like 'Display Session on Monitor X.' There is a way to do this, but it is neither easily discoverable nor intuitive. Use Remote Desktop on your Windows, Android, or iOS device to connect to a Windows 10 PC from afar. Set up the PC you want to connect to so it allows remote connections: Make sure you have Windows 10 Pro. To check, go to Start Settings System About and look for Edition.
Step 1: Accessing RDP
Search via Start Menu to bring up the RDP window and click 'show options'.
Step 2: Configuring RDP
Click on the 'Display' tab
Check the box 'Use all my monitors for the remote session'
Click on the 'General' tab and save the configuration to your desktop
